Upgrade the stereo system in your 1998-2013 Harley Davidson Road Glide, Street Glide, or Electra Glide with our Hertz stereo package. This kit includes the Hertz SX 165 NEO 6.5" speakers, the Rockford Fosgate plug-and-play wiring harness for 1998-2013 bikes, front speaker adapater that allow you to install the speakers behind your factory grilles, and your choice of Rockford Fosgate power mini or M5 amplifier.

Unless you are using horn tweeter front speakers, the Hertz SPL Show NEO 6.5" speakers are among the best coaxial speakers you can install on a motorcycle. The SX 165 NEO have a nature-proof pressed papper cone that will deliver the smoothness and sound quality you expect from Hertz speakers while withstanding water, humidity, and UV light. The tweeter in these 6.5" speakers is 1.4" while most 6.5" speakers have .75" or 1" tweeters. The SX 165 NEO speakers handle 100 watts which makes them a great match for any of the Rockford Fosgate amplifier choices.

The Rockford Fosgate wiring harness is designed for true, plug and play installation. It is designed to plug in to your factory radio or the Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813. It is pre-terminated and cut to length so you don't have to cut, crimp, splice, tape, etc. It includes the mounting plate for the amplifier.

The 5.25" speaker adapters allow you to install the larger 6.5" speakers behind your factory speaker grilles for a stock, seemless look that delivers far superior sound quality.

For the head unit, you can keep your stock head unit, but for the best sound quality, we recommend upgrading to the Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813. The output on the factory radio is garbage. The Rockford Fosgate head unit is plug and play, it has all the new features you expect from a brand new head unit, it has a full color screen, and the controls were designed so that you can keep your gloves on.

The Rockford Fosgate power mini and M5 amplifiers deliver incredible performance and output while taking up minimal space. These amplifiers have been tested and proven over the years to perform and with Rockford Fosgate, you know you are getting tons of raw output, perfect for ensuring you can hear over your pipes. Sure there may be other options and maybe you can save a couple bucks here and there, but what is that worth to you? You then have to custom build an amp rack, the plug and play harness is no longer plug and play, you will probably have to find an amp mounting plate, cut, drill, etc. Do you want to spend time installing your stereo or out riding listening to your stereo?

The Hertz speakers simply sound better and outperform the Rockford Fosgate speakers. Hertz speakers are known to play crystal clear, bright, and efficient. With this kit, you gain the ease of installation you get from the Rockford kits, you aren't forced into buying the head unit, you get better speakers, and you can actually save a little money. The only draw back is that you need to use the speaker adapters to install behind the factory grilles.
