The Rockford Fosgate HD9813RG-STAGE2 stereo package includes a direct replacement head unit, 6.5" front speakers, 5.25" TourPak speakers, and a 400-watt marine grade amplifier. This stereo package upgrades and updates the head unit on your bike while also taking your speakers, sound quality, clarity, and total volume to a complete, other level.
The Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813 head unit is designed to withstand rain, dust, and anything else mother nature can throw at it. It comes with Bluetooth built in, AM/FM, a USB port, and an auxiliary input. In addition, the radio is plug-and-play with no wiring or cutting required, it has a 3" color, LCD display, and large buttons and knobs so that you can easily change volume and channels without taking your eyes off the road. It is compatible to work with your factory handle bar controls and is plug and play with your factory connectors.
The front, 6.5" Road Glide fairing speakers feature true marine-grade construction and are specifically designed for motorcycle applications. These speakers are not marine-grade versions of car speakers. These speakers were specifically designed for motorcycle applications and to give you the volume and clarity you need to hear your music crystal clear at 75 mph over wind, exhaust, and road noise. New speaker grilles are included and these speakers are designed to mount to your stock fairing using factory hardware. No cutting or drilling is required. The 5.25" TourPak speakers are direct fit replacements, just like the front speakers. The power the speakers, the Rockford Fosgate HD9813RG-STAGE2 kit includes the TM400x4ad amplifier. This is a 400 watt marine grade amplifier that will give you plenty of power for your front speakers, it is small enough to easily fit behind the fairing, and as a 4 channel amplifier, you have the ability to power Tour Pak or saddle bag speakers if you decide to add them later. These amps are truly amazing. You get tons of raw, Rockford Fosgate power in a super compact chassis and with a constant power circuit to enesure that you get the power that you are paying for across all impedances.
To connect everything together, the HD9813RG-STAGE2 comes with a direct-fit, plug and play wiring kit and amplifier mounting plate. Does I need to flash the bike after installation?
No, the 1998-2013 Harley Davidson bikes do not require a re-flash when installing the Rockford Fosgate stereo package.
Can I install this myself?
Can you? Absolutely. If you are comfortable taking the faring off of your bike, you are moderately handly, and you have a general understanding of how vehicle electrical systems work, you can install this package. Rockford also includes a video to show you how to install it, step-by-step.
Do I need any additional wiring harnesses or adapters?
No, the Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813 uses the factory plug for power and speaker connections. The wiring kit that is included is pre-terminated, cut to length, and uses the factory connectors. The speakers come with factory plug adapters so ensure that no cutting, wiring, or splicing is required.
What if I don't need a head unit?
If you do not need a head unit, you can purchase the TMS65RG front speakers, the TMS5 TourPak speakers, the TM400x4ad amplifier, and the wiring kit separately.
Is an antenna included?
An antenna is not included. We recommend using our black box antenna that you can find here, P/N ANTUV-HIDE.
